Start at the beach, explore later. You're picked up at the airport and taken straight to Nungwi on the north
coast, where you spend your first day and night by the ocean. The cultural tours. Stone Town, a spice

DAY 1 Arrival & Stone town tour

Your driver meets you at Zanzibar Airport and takes you north to Nungwi, about an hour's drive. Once
you're at your beachside hotel, the rest of the day is free. Swim, walk the shoreline, or settle in. No tours, no
schedule. Overnight at your beach hotel.

DAY 2 Transfer to Stone Town — Stone Town Walking Tour

After breakfast, you check out and drive to Stone Town. After dropping your bags at the hotel, your guide
takes you on a Stone Town tour through the old town on foot. You stop at the former Slave Market and
Anglican Cathedral, the House of Wonders, the Old Fort, and Darajani Market. Your guide covers the town's
history, the slave trade, the sultanate, and the blend of cultures that shaped this UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Site. Evening is free for dinner or walking around on your own.

DAY 3 Spice Farm Tour and Prison Island Tour

After breakfast, you head to a spice farm outside Stone Town. A guide walks you through the plantation,
showing you how cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, vanilla, and black pepper are grown. You taste fresh spices
and tropical fruits, and learn why Zanzibar became known as the Spice Island.

In the afternoon, a boat takes you to Prison Island. The island was once a colonial prison and quarantine
station, now home to giant Aldabra tortoises, some over a hundred years old. You walk the grounds, see
the tortoises up close, and sit by the water before heading back to Stone Town.

DAY 4 Free Morning and Departure

After breakfast, the rest of the morning is open depending on your flight. Walk around Stone Town, pick up souvenirs,
or have coffee at a rooftop café. Your airport transfer is timed to your departure.
